Study Of PSF And Restoration Of Image Blurred By Motion

Motion-blurring is caused by the relative motion between the camera and the object. It is a ubiquitous matter, for example, the photo shot at the plane or space aerocraft, the photo of object moving at high speed, missile flying at the battlefield. The restoration of images blurred by motion is one of the main questions for discussion. It has realistic significance, applying in many fields, for example, military affairs, traffic, medical images, industry controlling and detective field.The article studies and analyses the theory of images blurred by motion, setting up the model of degenerating and restoration. The article proves that we must directly set two- dimensional PSF at the motion direction in order to restore images accurately and summarizes that how to set Point Spread Function (PSF) is the key in the image restoration. The article provides an algorithm to set up two-dimensional PSF and the material procedure to produce the matrix of PSF, on the basis of the knowledge of computer photograph and digital image processing. The computer simulation and test result are provided and analyzed by comparing.It proves the algorithm of setting up PSF is true and the result is satisfactory by applying restoring algorithm of time domain. The algorithm of setting up PSF make accurately restore image burred by arbitrary direction motion possible, developing the range of the image restoration methods. The article also summarizes that there are characters on the spectrum image, and the relation between the motion parameter and the spectrum characters. The motion parameter can be acquired by applying Hough transformation to the spectrum image. To images blurred by rotation, the nonlinear and variable motion, the thought is to apply linear invariable restoration on the basis of geometry transformation. It is proved effective by computer simulation and test.
