Doubly Salient motor is a new type of AC motor appeared at 1990s. Presently, domestic and international researches are mainly concentrated on permanent-magnetic doubly-salient motor. Embedded researches about electro-magnetic doubly-salient motor have gone on recent years. This thesis studies electro-magnetic doubly-salient motor control system from four perspectives: the basic theory, mathematic modeling and stimulation, control parameters design, and control technique implement.This paper first briefly introduced the structure and basic operation principle of the new electro-magnetic doubly-salient motor. Then, the nonlinear inductance modeling method is presented based on the nonlinear inductance, and dynamic mathematic model in complex plane is set up, based on which simulation is carried out with the help of the software MATLAB/PSB (Power System Block). In order to simplify control parameters design, the modeling method of equivalent inductance is put forward and Validated by simulation and experimentation. At last, this paper introduced the design of hardware of the electro-magnetic doubly-salient motor speed-controlling system by full-bridge converter. The result of the debugging on the system show that the system possesses excellent running performance and prove the theoretic analysis and simulation to be right.
