The small-signal averaging model of single-phase unipolar full-bridge SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) inverter is built in this paper firstly. The performance of inverter system is analyzed with the variation of parameter in the model in detail while the physical explanation and simulation result with Saber are given. The small-signal averaging model of cascade phase-shifting carrier SPWM inverter is also built and analyzed. And then , the mathematics models of single-phase unipolar full-bridge SPWM inverter and cascade phase-shifting carrier SPWM inverter are established separately and their harmonic analysis are all presented. According to the above harmonic analysis result, an effective filter design method on SPWM inverter is proposed and has good effect on the two kinds of inverters. What' s more, the operation principle and characteristics of cascade phase-shifting carrier SPWM inverter are introduced and discussed in detail. At last, the prototypes of single-phase unipolar full-bridge SPWM inverter and cascade phase-shifting carrier SPWM inverter are made separately. The experimental waveform and data of the prototypes are given.
