| Population, natural resources and environment are three issues that confront us in the world of today. Given the enormity of its landmass and the abundance of water supply, China is naturally endowed with the ability to develop hydropower. Since the late 1980s, Western countries have been working on the designing of computer control systems for large and medium-sized hydropower stations. Thanks to the technological advances in the manufacturing of CPU, MCU and DSP, electronic control even for medium-small hydraulic generators is now quite common in developed countries. In our country, we are still using old facilities, sleazy automation, and ineffective management in medium- and small-size power stations. Economic development requires us and technology enables us today to generate hydraulic energy in this country. Therefore, regenerating our current hydropower stations and optimizing our control of them by introducing the latest computer technology becomes an urgent task that all Chinese hydraulic scientists must seriously consider undertaking. The first chapter of the thesis analyzes the latest developments in computer control systems both at home and abroad and points to the necessity and feasibility of assuming automatic computer control for medium- and small-size hydropower stations in our country. While it also analyzes the structural model and reliability of the systems, it proceeds from there to present the general design of a new system, highlighting some of the MCU hardware and part of the MCU control system. The chapter concludes with an explanation of some of the data processing system and some of the improvements that this system is likely to head towards.Chapter three describes the general design of the system (both hardware and software), Chapter four introduces Motorola MC68HC908GP32 single piece microcomputer and TLC2543. Chapter five presents the programming for data collection based on MC68HC08 MCU. Chapter six enunciates the design for separate modules of the data processing system. Phases straight lines model and not straight lines model based on BP are used to correct the physical parameters and eliminate deflection. The least-square is used to calculate the efficiency of generators. Finally, parts of the important program codes are provide in appendix. |
