According to the importance of environmental protection, saving energy and using in our country, an electronic controlled gasoline multi-point injection system developed by author for automobile 465Q engine introduced from foreign country is presented in this dissertation.465Q engine is optimized and matched by the system. It is composed of air system, fuel system and control system. Taking a series of controlled parameters as the inputs through some sensor, such as MAP(Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor), CPS(Crankshaft Position Sensor), MAT(Manifold Air Temperature sensor), CTS(Coolant Temperature Sensor), TPS(Throttle Position Sensor)and OS(Oxygen Sensor), the system controls the air-fuel ratio and ignition advance according to the controlled parametermaps stored in the memory of ECU. During the control process, the system adopts the proper control strategy in accordance with the operating mode as start, idle, acceleration, deceleration, and cruising mode in which the engine is working, and therefore the different needs for air-fuel ratio and ignition advance in various operating modes can be met. Owing to the grouping synchronously multi-point injection, the distributorless ignition system with two cylinder ignited synchronously, and MAP sensor replacing air flow meter are applied in this system, it has simple structure, credible performance and cheap cost.In this paper, control unit ECU of electronic controlled system is designed and taking MCS-51 singlechip as processor. Hardware design includes input signal processing circuit, input & output interface circuit, modulus transition circuit between microcomputer and data acquisition. Software design includes control program, original data and data structure design. In addition to, display program, outside data transition and communication program of controller accepting outside control are given.The emphasis is on the optimizing calibration of controlparameter of engine. We know the engine is always in different modes in working period, so we need calibrate every mode in order to control accurately. The paper introduces the basic calibration process of steady, transient and start operating mode and receives the results of optimizing calibration according to plenty of experiments.Through the study on an electronic controlled gasoline injection system of the original 465Q engine, this paper designs a new general planning of electronic controlled engine. After finishing the software & hardware design, getting this engine Map and achieving electronic controlled gasoline injection process. This result can give some reference to perfect electronic controlled system of gasoline and methanol.
