Study And Numerical Simulation On Damage Evolvement On Of RC Frame Structure Under Earthquake Force

The direct reason that earthquake imperil people's life and property is to cause to collapse of house. It is complex nonlinear mechanism process. Now the collapse mechanism of structure has not been clear, which has been a key project for earthquake researcher and civil engineer worker. In fact, the collapse of structure is process in which damage of structure is deposited and developed constantly. In this thesis the evolvement process of damage of RC frame structure is studied and simulated by method of numerical on base of damage.Firstly, recent study on numerical simulation of collapse of structure and some development in field of damage study are introduced. Secondly after damage model of structure is analyzed and considering of rigid degradation in crossing section of structure , the damage index is defined by rotation rigid of element side and the model of damage of crossing section is developed .Meantime, the damage model of structure is built by idea that damage index of elements endowed weight are added linearly. In addition, the program of numerical simulation about damage evolvement of structure is written. Finally, the damage model of structure and program are tested according example designed.
