Foundation piles are used for high-rise buildings base. Deep excavation isconducted. Piles are driven into the earth prior to excavation. According to manymeasured-data of foundation pit, the heave of bottom pit is small since foundationpiles limited bottom heave. Moreover, excavation has influence on foundation piles,such as deviation of foundation piles. Deep excavation is analyzed in 2-D FEM or 3-DFEM not considering foundation piles at present. Based on the problems in the analysis of excavation, deep excavation is analyzedconsidering foundation piles in retaining wall. And deformation behavior is comparewith that of no-considering foundation piles. Because 3-D analysis is complicated andused many time, 2-D FEM is accepted. The influence of foundation piles is analyzeddeeply. The analyzed influences are included to deformation of excavation, the fieldstress of soil, the field of deformation of soil. The method of equivalent axial stiffness is accepted to simulate foundation piles.FEM results are shown that the influence of foundation piles is obvious on foundationpit deformation and internal force of strutted structure. Based on considering foundation piles and no-considering foundation piles, theinfluence factors of retaining-wall depth, retaining-wall stiffness and stiffness of soilare analyzed on 2-D EFM. Finally, some deep excavation cases are analyzed on above-mentioned FEM. Themethod is proved to be reasonable.
