In this paper, the meaning of research and development status of the small current grounded line detection devices. The current measurement principles, the relevant structures and reasons for their success or failure of the devices in lining power network are analyzed. Then, the principles of wavelet analysis, resonance wavelet analysis and energy analysis are detailedly introduced. A new type of fault lines detection device has been produced based on above principles integrally. The high prosperity of the device is realized.At the mean time, the experiments and studies on the 110kv Shizhong sub-station in Jining power network are introduced and analyzed in this thesis. It is proved that the new fault line detection devices are efficient and perfect.
