The simulation technology is a useful technology which has a strong practical nature.For the features such as economy,safety,convenience,ect,it gains extensive application in many domains,being one of major reseach method for engineering and non-engineering.The Scene Simulation Technology is an important branch of simulation technology. It utilizes three dimension scene technology to generate a visual scene which provides an simulation environment with immerse sense for user to interact with. Along with constantly developing of computer software and hardware technology,the Scene Simulation Technology originally minicomputer or graphic workstation based begins transplating to person computer platform.According to this backgroud, we brought forward the concept of the Scene Simulation Technology based PC definitely,and had a systematical research on some questions related. At the same time,based on the need of seismic damage forecast and seismic damage illustration,we developed a software called Buildings Earthquake Damage Illustration System(embryo).In this thesis,main research is described as following:1) According to the principle of System Science and Resemble Technology,we systematically discussed the basic theory of simulation technology. Combining with several simple but typical examples,we put forward morphism principle and equal principle which based on morphism system and equivalent system and expounded the inherent meaning of simulation and emulation. Some vocabulary related were clarified definitely and the interrelationship between simulation, experiment and analysis was expounded.The developing veins of the simulation technolo.gy were elaborately carded.The modern meaning of simulation technology was explained further.2) Drawing the outline of the research architecture of modern simulation technology,expounding the relationship between simulation system and simulation environment,the concept of integrated simulation environment was definitely explained.The framework,realizing method,programming environment and running environment of the Scene Simulation Technology were discussed.Bringing forward the Scene Simulation Technology based PC,we systematically discussed its basic concept,technology framework,realizing tools,programming environment,running environment,developing scheme,programming model and applied foreground.3) After putting forward a series-wound disimtegrsted function model structure for buildings earthquake damage illustration,we introduced a certain vulnerabilityassessment method for several types of common buildings. Summing up some typical destructive characteristics of several types of buildings,we put forward a destruction model based on feature extractionAdditionally we discussed parameterial description for vulnerability model and graphic description for destruction model.4) combining the Scene Simulation Technology based PC with the simulation model for seismic damage illustration,the Buildings Earthquake Damage Illustration System(embryo) is estabished.We adopted a mixed-language programming model using Visual Basic,Visual C++ and VBA and provided good files management and powerfully database supporting.With the functions of vulnerability analysis, automatic documents processing and earthquake damage illustration,the software can be used for the seismic damage forecast and earthquake damage illustration for sevarel types of common buildings.
