| YiLi Prefecture in the western part of Xinjiang is a beautiful place. The YiLi River valley is the most prosperous area where farming and animal husbandry have developed fully. It is an important base, which produces grain crops, oil-bearing crops and sugar beets, and it is also a base for husbandry. YiLi Prefecture is famous for its fine-wool sheep and the YiLi horse. Therefore, this area is called "the granary of Northern Xinjiang" and "the Yangtze River valley in Gobi-desert".The main places of interest of YiLi Prefecture are: The bell and Drum Tower in Huiyuan city; the Guhuangqu Drangon entrance; the Ruins of the Gold-Roofed Temple and the Mohe old city; the Suchan Waisihan Mazar; the Ancient city of Hainute; the shengyou Temple; the xiaohongnahai stone figure; the xiata village culture scenery; the Abureleshan Rocks; the Tangbula Hot Spring Scenery; the Qiaxi Tour scenery and the Nalati Grassland, etc. With the reform policy of our central government "Open to the west", YiLi Prefecture has become an attractive commercial place and also a traveling resort.The bridge, which we will build, lies in the Sandaohezhi sub the YiLi River where it is the border of the No.63 and No.64 Production and Construction corps. Because the YiLi River belongs to plain broad and shallow moving river, the main channel changes greatly and swings to a large range, which leads to river crooked branching river type and S curved, many fork rivers, the river continent and the river beach in river center, alluvial shoal and beach. The width in some section of the river is up to about 3800m. In flood season it causes serious harm to farmland, factories, residents along two sides. So there is a saying, which goes that "River the east 30 years, the river west one year". Therefore, to clearly know about development of the river and choose the suitable bridge location is key link for constructing YiLi River Super major bridge in Sandaohezhi sub. |
