The detection technique of underwater target with vector transducer is one of the rising techniques in the underwater engineering. It is often called "Acoustic technique in the twenty-one century" for it's widely prospect in weak signal detection and low noise measurement. Compared with traditional transducer, the vector detection technique can get the acoustic vector signal's spatial direction information. Based on the acoustic energy flow detection, the spatial energy flow suppression can obtain time-space gain in direct proportion to time-bandwidth product, which is just the main advantage of the vector transducer.Usually, single vector sensor will obtain infinite gain if noise energy flow can be counteracted in whole space. But actually, the vector sensor's detection gain will be limited by the finite noise counteract for the existence of anisotropic component in the noise field. In this paper, the self-adaptive filter , the wavelet transform and the Fourier transform are used to detect the stationary and the non-stationary signal of underwater sound in anisotropic noise field. The results show that the self-adaptive filter can be used to detect line spectrum , the wavelet transform and the Fourier transform can be used to detect the ship noise in modulating the anisotropic noise field.
