| Plasma ignition technique for engine is a new pattern technique, at the present some developed countries have studied Plasma ignition system. Ukraine have firstly used this technique in marine gas turbine and pumping station of the gas turbine used for the long distance oil transportation main from Siberia to Europe which increases the reliability of retrofires and extend the concentration limit of retrofires.Plasma generator is a very important component in the plasma ignition system. The air flow across the plasma generator will result in heat transfer, mass transfer, plasma chemical reactions and other mechanisms of processes. In the process of study plasma ignition technique, the study of plasma generator is the most important work for its complex mechanisms of processes and too small space to observe by experiment.This article builds the numerical plasma generator model of GT25000 plasma ignition system. It analyses the plasma electrical arc characteristic from the thermal and electrical characteristic and flame flow rate and the burning stability. Using the numerical computation method to simulate the pure air flowing in the plasma generator and using zero dimension theory and continuous medium hypothesis to establish the mathematical model of the plasma generator and applying the curvilinear coordinate to disperse the space of the plasma generator, applying SIMPLEC method to solve the set of discredited equations.The article analyses the influence to the generator electrode temperature from different inlet angle and inlet total pressure and the compressive angle of fluid in the situational process. The analytical result will reflect the electrode wall heat load qualitatively. It will play the great role on the life of the generator electrode. |
