Applying the real time condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system to the saturated turbine has very important significance in assuring the saturated steam turbine running unfailingly and reducing the rate of accident. Only the real time condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system can register all kinds of data of the turbine-generator sets' function, find the abnormal tings in time and diagnose the things that cause faults fast and correctly, put forward the corresponding methods.A lot of national and international real time fault diagnosis systems are studied by the author and let as the basis. In this paper, we use the high-speed signal processing board SEED-30ES to research the method of the saturated turbine' s status collection and processing. The main characters and capabilities of TMS320C30 are also studied. The author designs a data examination and adjustment fault diagnosis system based on TMS320C30. The system includes hardware and software two parts. The main parts of the hardware system are PC and TMS320C30. PC is the host computer and the TMS320C30 is the subordinate computer. The host computer controls the subordinate to collect and process the data. Then the PC screen displays the data and processed results. The software system also includes two parts that is the program wrote by C language and assemble language. The host computer communicates the subordinate computer by the program wrote by C language. This program also controls the sequence of the compilation instructions' execution and sets up the good mutual interface between the man and the computer. The assembly language program collects and processes the data real time. Comparing kinds of method of filter and arithmetic of FFT, the author select the FIR filter to realizepretreatment of signal and Radix-2 FFT to distill the characters of librations. By comparing the data collection and processing system based on TMS320C30 and the system based on conventional CPU, the author find the running time of the former is much shorter than the latter. So the system can satisfy real time better than the old one.The author carried out a series of experiments of unbalance and misalignment on the rotor experimental platform. The experimental results indicated that the data collection and processing system could collect and process data in time and satisfy real time on line fault diagnosis system.
