As a member of the team researching and developing the new generation of ATC (Air Traffic Control) system (named MRD2K-JH) for Chinese air force, the author devotes his energies in the work of FDP (Flight Data Process). This thesis first introduces what is ATC system and the present status of ATC systems in China, then sets forth the design and structure of the new MRD2K ATC system, based on the research and adjustment to the actual environment, essential technical points of FDP are presented in detail:The interface of traffic telegram and decoding algorithm: In this part, the application interface of Eicon X.25 card for MRD2K is introduced, and then the realization of a decoding algorithm based on context-free grammar is described in detail, which replaces the traditional method that decoding each telegram using a corresponding subprogram. As there are various types and formats of traffic telegrams, our method shows how to define the formats of telegrams, the grammar rule and the recursive descent-parsing algorithm to analyze the telegrams. The results shows it has high accuracy and adaptation for many types of telegrams, each of which has several formats.The research on Flight Plan Conflict Probe (FPCP): In the phase of flight plan preparation, the planning controller of air force used to spend half time of each day to draw the routes on the maps and then probe the conflicts between them, for the flight routes are quite irregular and more possible to cause conflicts with other training flights or civil aviation flights. The FPCP model studied here is one of the innovation applied in MRD2K-JH, it can automatically probe all the potentialconflicts between flight plans. This model uses 4-D conflict probing rules to analyze all the route information of flight plans, the detected conflicts (route points or segments) can be useful for assisting the planning controller to amend the conflicted plans and re-probe the conflicts.Research on the Oracle OCI class realization: Using OCI (Oracle Call Interface) as the Oracle DB interface we can get high efficiency and platform compatibility. But the original C based OCI access is quite complex and difficult to use, a method of how to encapsulate a C++ OCI class is studied in this part, and an automatic recovery mechanism of fault tolerant network accessing is also provided. After a long period of testing and actual using, the new OCI class has been proven an independent, uniform, convenient, efficient, reliable and transplantable interface for all the subsystem of MRD2K-JH.All the achievements described above have been applied in the new MRD2K-JH ATC system, which is developed with absolutely independent intellectual property. MRD2K-JH system has broken the monopolization of foreign technologies and filled a technical gap for Chinese military ATC systems. It will greatly improve the modernization, automatization and intelligentization of our military ATC systems with remarkable social and strategic signification.
