Study On The Three Gorges Dam Bedrock Geology Flaws And The Dam Body Cracks And Its Treatment Measures

The bedrock geology flaws and the dam body cracks and its treatment measures are the hard problems to treat appropriately in geotechnical engineering. Based on the numerical analysis method and the construction technology, as well as the test method, with the Three Gorges Project, the problems including the big dam bedrock geology flaws and the dam body cracks forming factor and its treatment measures are studied. The study work and its feature may be summarized as follows:(1)The Three Gorges dam bedrock geology flaws are analyzed. From the foundation treatment, the bedrock consolidation grouting, the base seeps control and providing seeps, the deep stratum of grouting and the dam foundation combating to slip to steady and etc, some methods which are used to deal with the flaws of the bedrock geology are summed up. Through the strengthening treatment, the safe reliability of the dam foundation is increased further.(2)The main reasons of the cracks on the upper and backward of the releasing excessive water dam are analyzed. The finite element numerical calculation method is adopted to calculate the temperature field and temperature stress of the dam, and to simulate the actual situation of the field such as the concrete property, pouring construction process and air temperature changes, superficial heat preservation and so on. A series of most useful analysis computational results are obtained.(3)In the basis of analyzing the results of different temperature controlling, ten kind of valid measure of the dam concrete temperature control are summed. From the selection of materials, construction technology experiment and etc, the treatment measures of the dam body cracks are suggested.
