At present, people have confronted two major problems, the shortage of energy and the environmental pollution. It will be the central task of science and technology development in 21st century to find an efficient solution to them. Refrigerating industry, which is closely related to our daily life, is facing severe challenge because some refrigerating fluids used consume Ozone layer and increase green-house effect. Simultaneously how to reduce the quantity consumed by the system of refrigerating is also a forward question for study in thermal-physical engineering.A study was conducted from several aspects to assess the alternative technology, which were alternatives to compression refrigeration. By analyzing the CFCs&HCFCs refrigerant used in vapor compression refrigeration system, the author fined that it is more or less harmful to environment, This article evaluated different alternative technologies, and gave them a proper position in alternative fields, which also offered a foundation to reverse Stirling-cycle which being used in air-conditioning. In all of alternative technology, reverse Stirling-cycle has a good foreground: Because of the refrigerant being used in stirling-cycle were acquired from nature, it has less impaction to surroundings, in the other hand, the reverse Stirling-cycle has the same COP with anti-cannotcycle in the same temperature bound. At last, the author analyzing the reverse Stirling cycle, and put forward the thought of applying this technology in air-conditioning. The article gave a new method in alternative technology of air-conditioningIn addition, this article establishes the mathematic model for reverse Stirling-cycle, and calculates it with Schmidt Analysis Method, at last the author analyzing the result.
