The vibration of water turbine is an important factor in stability. Nowadays, the development of the Computer Aided Test (CAT) technique and the modern digital signal ..theory provides better test conditions than before, which would be useful for solving problem.This paper discusses the Data Acquisition and Signal Analysis system based on windows operating environment firstly. Object-oriented analysis and design technique is used as programming assistance and Visual C++ is used as Compiler tool. Most mathematical processing of original data are executing in Matlab. At last, the wavelet is presented to analyze the pressure fluctuation signal of water turbine testing system.This paper is divided into five chapters which are organized as following:Chapter one gives a review of the significance, task, internal and external research condition concerned.Chapter two introduces structured technique and object-oriented technique. Then it also analyzes and designs this software system summarily,In chapter three, event-driven programming model is discussed. The process of designing the software architecture, drawing program module and data acquisition program module is expounded.Chapter four designs the signal analysis program module. This module uses the DDE mechanism to communicate the foreground interface and background task.Chapter five studies the original signal in draft tube of the turbine and the wavelet is used to analyze signal.
