In the cold North China, the frost of concrete is one of the main reasons for the destroyed roads and bridges, it develops widely when de-icing salt is used. This paper discusses the early distress of cement concrete pavement in freeway's charge square and service area.The paper discusses mechanism performance, durability and resistance to de-icing salt concrete, this kind of concrete is made with air-entraining agent or silica fume and used in the trial section construction of Benxi-Dandong freeway's charge square which is located in Dandong. The schemes selected from the experiments are compared basing on the practical project; construction technology is also put forward according to its construction condition.It is verified that the performance of concrete in frost resistance has been greatly improved through a series of tests on concrete's frost resistance and analyses of contrasted results in and out of door. It is suggested that this kind of concrete could be widely used in the North China when road is constructed.
