The Research For Data Flow Of The No Stop Electronic Toll System In Network Environment

With the development of road network, the application of the No Stop Electronic Toll Collection System (NSETCS) has being widen. In versa, the NSETCS exert the function of the road network. But at moment, the NSETCS still use the saving card, that is, the toll is discounted from the money-filled card. These systems don't link to the network of the bank, so they have much inconvenience. Also there are many finance leak.The maturity of network technology makes it possible to link the network of bank to the Internet. At the same time, CIInet is improving, which is build for the application of computer network to the road network. In this domain, the NSETCS in the network environment is the orientation and target. In fact, the Ministry of communications already made this system as a key project.We made the whole system as a research object and the data flow of the vehicle as the research clue. We researched data sending, data receiving and transmission. The work concerned are listed as follows:1. The part of data sending: Design Unit On Board(UOB) hardware and programme the SCM.2. The part of receiving information: Design the hardware circuit of the Serial interface, deal with the received data and write it into the database.3. The part of database: Design the function for the database such as researching record , adding record , changing record , deleting record and soon.4. The part of data transmission by networks: Apply Client/Server Structure and TCP protocal to transmit data from client to server.The above-mentioned achievements not only bear theoretical value, but also build the solid foundation for the further research of NSETCS in network environment.
