Research For The Best Canal Designing In Yellow River Delta

This is a certain research for the best canal designing in Yellow River Delta according to the lower Yellow River character, Yellow River delta natural condition and the development of the industry, agriculture and society living standard. The main aim is going to work out the best way to solve the problem about sand deposition on the bottom of the canal. And to be sure the canal cannot be destroyed by the water flow with high speed and the canal has a high sand carrying ability. The other one is that the canal is capable of transferring the water with too much sand to the ground or the end of the canal directly through the long distance. Eventually the canal will be kept working well by the scientific management methods without sand deposition and flowed destroy for many years. In this paper, there is a real project in the delta designed with the studying results.
