| Heavy tamping is a techniques often used in ground treatment. On the other hand, heavy tamping is also a transient impact load that will produce strong ground vibration. The vibration attenuats with the increase of the distance from the actingpoint of the heavy tamping. The attenuation of the ground vibration is closely relative to the physical and mechanical properties of the ground media. The general attenuation law of ground vibration caused by heavy tamping is verified by spectrum analysis in this paper. Moreover ,the relationship between attenuation index and standard penetration number is created through combination analysis of vibration attenuation and surface wave propagation. |
