Now days the development of city gets increasing attention of our society, people began to realize that a perfect urban landscape design which based on proper evaluation may help us to establish good social mind and social behavior. The theory of city landscape evaluation in our country is somewhat weak, which leads to the lack of guiding theory in urban construction. So it is necessary for us to make deep research on quantitative analysis of city landscape.Based on the theory of circumstance psychology, statistics and public' s participate, the paper advanced a method of analyzing the urban landscape quantitatively. The mental and physical quantities of evaluating are obtained through the social investigation and vision-imitating experiment, and then the arithmetic relation among the elements of the landscape are got through quantities analyzing. At last the paper introduced the application of the conclusion and put forward an expectation of the study. Combined with objectivity, accuracy and the attention to people' s mental, the theory formed new system info, which provide basis for city design.
