Measurement and control system was born in 1960s. It has been widely used in the field of aviation, nucleus industry, auto measurement and control in lab, automation in factory, office, business and in family.Modern measurement and control system has developed fast in the field of integrated instrument, construction, testing of software and artificial intelligence, along with applying the technology of micro-electronics and digital signal processor to measurement and control system. The measurement and control system we discuss in this paper is designed for the special purpose. It is used for measuring parameters of sphere.The system is innovative from the design of mechanical to the setting of control system and the deal of measuring system. We spurned conventional structure of CMM and design a new CMM based on sphere coordinate. We computed and analyzed lots of data about the mathematics model and validated the rationality of the machine. The control system comprise two rank of principal and subordinate. Meantime, we introduced DSP controller into the system , so as to abbreviate the period of run and advance real time. The method of gluing long grating to fan-shaped wheel resolved the problem of measuring of angle. It remedy the bug of round grating and advanced the precision of orientation. We set down high performance and high precision frame in measuring system through using CCD and laser synchronously.
