Shoring of rock slope is very important in hydraulic, hydroelectric, railway and highway engineering. This problem can directly influence on construction time, investment and environment, and which involves a lot of knowledge such as geological, rock-soil, construction and environment protection. Combined with the project of "Stabilization and Shoring Optimizing of High Slope in Jinliwen Highroad", this problem was studied and following conclusion was given:1 .In order to meet the requirements of environment protection, many shoring forms such as SNS(Safety Netting System) and synthetic shoring have been developed and applied to slope protection. As one of the . most effective rock shoring forms, rock-bolt reinforcement is still in use combining with some shoring forms such as three-dimensional vegetable netting, insufflating-virescence reinforcement, sash reinforcement and their effects are very distinctly.2.Losing stability and failure of slope is a developing process. Slope monitoring is the most effective method to achieve the information on slope stability. To achieve better monitoringinformation, following work should be pay more attention: apractical monitoring design, a set of well selected apparatus, a reasonable monitoring frequency, in-time monitoring and data handling. The data from Xinbi high-slope shows that it's a stable slope.3.The result of elasto-plastic finite element analysis shows that: (1) Excavated-slope face would induce loose belt in rock; (2)Horizontal ground stress, joined rockmass and weak sandwich would make great unfavorable influence on slope stabilization and axial force of rock bolt.
