In this paper, By virtue of mordern metallography analyse technology . the author studied and developed the new technology of gear manufacturing after analyzing traditional cut processing and carburizing after warm-extrusion, The microstructure and properties of formed gears were studied and the results indicated: The first, as for the flow line contour, the traditional cut processes cut off the originally flow line that is distributed along material round of base , at the same time, it can bring the crackle source hidden; while new technology can get intact flow line, its form along teeth shape parallel on teeth surface, symmetrically distributed, and the tooth-heel department are more dense, so it improve strength and toughness of the gear. The second, the grain degree of warm-extrusion after carburizing can rise from No7-8 to No 10-11, especially, the grain of the tooth-heel is more fine; The third, the metal flow line of the gear was reasonable and the grain was more fine at the new technology of gear manufacturing of warm-extrusion after carburizing was studied in this paper,. The material fatigue strength and bend strength have been effectively improved, at the same time, the synthesis mechanical properties of the gear have great improvement. Finally, the aim of developing the new technology was attained.
