It is usually difficult to confirm the boundary condition in dewatering engineering of deep foundation pit. And the variety of the exploring results often make engineers difficult to accurately get hold of the hydraulic geological parameter. It couldn't accurately set up the model of underground water movement. Therefore, traditional calculation method of deep foundation pit dewatering usually come into a large deflection between the forecast result and the fact. Furthermore, it couldn't accurately foresee the land subsidence around the deep foundation pit. All kinds of drawback of traditional method require us searching for a workable method to controlling and forecasting the deep foundation pit dewatering. The random theory is educed into the deep foundation pit dewatering research just in stringent need of practical engineering. In this paper, hereinafter problems in deep foundation pit dewatering are importantly researched through using the random theory:(1) The basic theory of underground water permeation during dewatering in deep foundation pit is researched. The method of dewatering is also researched aiming at the deep foundation pit in soft soil two-layer structure area.(2) The random parameter and the random distribution of soft soil structure parameter are researched.(3) The random permeation model and the numerical answer of soft soil two-layer are established.(4) The ground random subsidence forecast for reason of dewatering in deep foundation pit are studied. And based on the reliability theory, the random land subsidence is analyzed.(5) The finite element method of random land subsidence and the reliability analysis of random soil parameter are furthermore researched.
