Study On The Theory And Analysis Method Of Highway Network Capacity

The capacity of highway network is a very important and useful index in evaluation of highway network. This paper expounds the function of capacity of network and its analysis method in traffic planning and correlation field. Base on the fact that different traffic flow has different character,The volume of traffic flow is divided into two parts,internal traffic and external traffic flow,and analysis them respectively. Applying the essential theory of traffic analysis and traffic planning,combine the correlation theory and means of Graph theory ^ Operational research^ Systems engineering,modeling to different traffic flow and its traffic capacity. This paper also bring out the resolution method and,this paper also programmed the method with MATLAB language so as to guarantee that the model is easy to operate in practice.The practice of highway network planning in Yantai have proved that the theory and method proposed in this paper provide a useful tool for traffic planning.
