Through the field tests on pile,loading plate test,individual pile composite foundation and pile groups composite foundation in the silty clay and siltfoundation.the following results are obtained:1. There are some difference between pile groups and single pile ondistribution of skin friction,trip resistance and load transmission. Especially the pile groups,which maximum axial force at some place under the pile top ,unlike that at the top of the single pile.This character cause the negative skin friction at the upper section of pile groups.Moreover,the tip resistance of pile groups is better used than the single pile.2. The sum of individual bearing capacity of single pile and single loading plate is stronger than the bearing capacity of individual pile composite foundation.The reasion is single pile and loading plate are weaken each other in bearing capacity.3. The bearing capacity of pile of composite foundation decrease with the pillow thicken and increase with load increase.In the condition of pillow and load changing,the bearing capacity of pile and soil are in the balance of mobile.4. The different distribution of pile reaction between pile groups composite foundation and composite pile foundation are studied,and some reasons are given.5. Axial force transmission,distribution of skin friction,tip resistance of pile,as well as tress ratio between pile and soil are changing with pillow.
