Now that the focus of freeway constructing is being shifted to mountain areas, many similar soil slopes of roadcut would be made. However, the mechanisms of similar soil slopes destroying are still unclear and the measures of reinforcing them are improper, so some hidden troubles of engineering are often brought and some resource are wasted. The anchor technology is a kind of method of active reinforcing that changes slope's stress status and inspires one's own stability by huge anchor force. The slope engineering by it is characterized as safety, legerity and beauty. Moreover, its total cost, society or economy benefits brought by it greatly excelled those conventional heavy structure used in reinforcing slope. But nowadays, research on the anchor technology in china mostly focus on rock slopes, not similar soil slopes. The technology used in similar soil slopes is chiefly based on experience, especially some new-style measures of slope anchor such as prestressed anchor cable sash or beam, etc.By many field investigates, this thesis brings forward the concept of similar soil slopes and analyzes their different characters from common soil slopes. By the test of anchor cable pull-out intensity, research is carried on anchor capability, stiffness coefficient and prestress losses of anchor cable in reinforcing similar soil slopes. The mechanisms of reinforcing similar soil slopes by prestressed anchor cable sash(beam) are studied by the method of combination of field test, theory analysis and numerical simulation, as a result, the calculational pattern of internal force of anchor cable sash (beam) is put forward. In addition, the numerical simulation of effect of similar soil slope reinforced by anchor cable beam comes to the conclusion that this technology is superior to common reinforcing measures.
