The theme of the thesis is the design of the green building. As today we talk about protecting environment more and more, the idea of sustainable development becomes the guideline of protecting our beautiful earth. The green building is involved in the realm of more deep level of sustainable development in architecture. From one side, a system for studying is needed. On the other hand, the practice of green building needs more introductions. The thesis brings up the key obstacle in front of the green building developments by analyzing large quantity domestic and international research data. The thesis also tries to build a research frame by integrating laws, methods and techniques of green building design.
