The Research On The Boundary Element Method Analysis Of The Property Of Diesel Engine Exhaust Silencer

On the basis of the introduction of the theory of the silencer and the Boundary Element Method (BEM), the thesis shows the advantage and feasibility of using the BEM to calculate the property parameter of the silencer and it also analyses the process of using the BEM to calculate the wave equation. The mathematical model is established and the computer program is compiled by using number integral method calculates the parameters of silencer . In order to testify whether the calculation method and computer program is right or not, compare the testing data with the calculating data . At the same time , we analyses the effect of the air speed on the property of silencer on real condition and modify the wave equation and the boundary condition. These works can provide a powerful tool and a reliable basis for structure design of the silencer .
