Regionalism is a kind of inherent attribute of buildings. It's formed from the human beings practice, and is a product suited to nature conditions and the development of the society and culture. Though ancestral temple is a confucianists etiquette building and is influenced by the confucianists etiquette ideology, it have undergone a long process of social culture development under the condition of physical geography and become mature ultimately. The ancestral temple show us brilliant image and social cultural feature as well.It is significant for a researcher like me in the field of Chinese history of architecture and culture to seize the trend of the age and explain the specific type---- ancestral temple, the place for the actives in folk customs and culture from the aspect of architectural culture, so as to enrich the theatrical research into the regional and typical architectural types in our country. The famous theorist P. P. Lex Pointed out in the book "The Form of house and Culture" that: "house is not only a structure but it is a complex sustainable system. So house construction is a Cultural backgrounds...".In recent years, it is acknowledged by many professionals in architectural circles that architecture should be analyzed as a cultural phenomenon. In the thesis, some living examples and the relevant analyses are set up is avoided as the bases and the enumerating materials. And based on analyzing the architectural and space features of the ancestral temple building a fairly realistic investigation and analysis are given to its social, historical, humane and natural geographic environments. And the thesis also describes comprehensively ancestral temple and reveals the eternal theme, people are the makers of history.
