Urban Design In The 21 Century--The Exploration Of Urban Design From The Point Of View Of A Life-system

The paper reveals that city is a life-system and building in a city is a cell in a life-system? A human body is composed of 8 systems. By the contrast to 8 systems in a human body, a city can also be divided to 8 ife systems. By contrasting system structure, function, action and environment of a city and a life, the paper tries to find out how city systems work together and be in harmony with one another to achieve the goal of urban design.
