Analyzing And Reappearing Fault Data Based On Comtrade Standerd

In this paper, a system was designed based on COMTRADE standard which defines how to store transient data. The system can be called 揂nalyzing and Reappearing fault data based on COMTRADE standard? It provides the engineers of the relay protection a convenient tool to analyze the action of relay. The system can automatically read the data information which is saved in soft disks. It is composed of two parts, one is analyzing the fault data, the other is reappearing the fault data. It is well known that Visual C++ is popular and powerful at present, and it is applied in this paper to edit the software of analyzing fault data. Several functions was got, which concluded the handling of fault data, the computing exactly and displaying some parameters such as base wave, harmonic component, sequence component and impedance, and finding the position of the fault. C was used to the software of reappearing fault data, which is the functional menu of the MRT-03 MUTI-FUCTION RELAY PROTECTION TESTER. Fault data can be send to relay to debug the relay. The general design, realizing plan and detailed technical means were discussed in this paper, and the instance tests of the system was also made.
