High-speed way is a channel of modern transportation, it is playing an increasingly important role in the economy. There are some special landforms in southern of Shanxi, the high-speed way in mountainous area, it is very easy to cause the occurrence of geological hazards. So we carried out the expressway in mountainous area of landslide stability analysis, prevention and control work of the highway which is built in the mountain areas becomes more important.The paper relies on the project of Pingzhen High-speed way, researches the landslide of K10+400-K10+900 on the basis of analysis of geological background of Pingzhen High-speed way. The paper researches the characteristics of the landslide by the detailed geological exploration, the logging of drilling and the collection of typical samples, and analysis and compares the stability of landslide indifferent conditions by using the limit equilibrium method and FLAC 3D finite element software.At last, the paper proposals some reasonable treatment planes on this landslide:(1) The paper finds out the characteristic of sliding bed, sliding surface and sliding mass by the section, which has exposed the length, and thickness of the landslide.(2) According to the transfer coefficient method and the simulation analysis of FLAC 3D, the stability coefficient of the landslide keeps at 1.05-1.06 in natural state, and the landslide keep in substantially stable state. The stability coefficient of the landslide keeps between 0.87-0.92 in the saturation state, which indicates the landslide is in an unstable state. These are nearly the same with the results of the qualitative analysis.(3) On the basis of the results of the qualitative analysis, the paper obtains the reasonable prevention measures, and a reasonable reference in the construction of Pingzhen High-speed way, comparing the cutting slope and the anti-slide pile and veriting the safety factor after cutting slope by FLAC 3D.
