Weighing and packaging is an important part of daily life and production, it plays a decisive role in the production and processing of food, feed, chemical engineering and other products. With the development of high and new technology, people require better function and higher stability of weighing and packaging equipment. On this basis, this paper presents a solution which combined the embedded technology ARM and PLC to achieve the tasks of high precision dynamic weighing material and heat sealing packaging.Automatic weighing control system is the core part of this paper, the weighing accuracy and speed is directly related to the product’s quality and efficiency. This paper analyzes the whole weighing control system and makes multilevel control to the weighing process according to the dynamic weighing’s traits, for the purpose of assuring weighing velocity and precision. In the control method, this design establishes prognosticating model first and then estimates switch quotiety which is based on the prognosticating model in all level to adjust on-off time of entering staff’s valve. In addition, hardware structure of this paper designed including the control chip STM32. signal collecting and amplifying circuit, serial communication module, etc. The instrument collect pressure signals, and then transmit to the main controller STM32 after AD convert, control the relay act according to the relevant control algorithms, then control the opening and closing of the value, communicating with the host computer through the serial port then realizing automatic control of the weighing and packaging process.Heat sealing control system is another key part of this article, mainly completed heat sealing in the process of conveyor belt running, including positioning, traction, hot sealing.The temperature is directly related to the quality and appearance of the products in the process of heat sealing, so this paper designed control scheme which consists of temperature controller, SCR and thermocouple.The temperature of heat sealing is transmitted to temperature controlling device by thermocouple, and then compared to the expected value. The control signal is calculated based on the PID. And the control signal regulate the power of the SCR. then the temperature is been adjusted. PLC is the the host controller of heat sealing system, communicated with upper control unit by the manner of OPC. which can real-time display system status and send the control parameters, to achieve automatic intelligent control. In this paper, the PC monitoring system is designed independently by LabVIEW which was a current widely used test software based on the graph language programming, realizing to the real-time data monitoring of the whole system, parameter setting, alarm control and so on. The design with the friendly man-machine interface and the. visual image can make the operator fully grasp the running state of the whole system. At last, by the debugging of automatic weighing and heat sealing system in laboratory, the results prove the feasibility of this design system.
