A Study On The Application Of The Dyed Art Of Xiangxi In Contemporary Living Room

With the rising of national intangible cultural preservation, more and more people pay attention to the protection of traditional arts and crafts.As one of tie-dyed cultural family, Western Hunan tie-dyed art becomes the most representative symbol of propaganda with its unique geography and cultural dependence. In this context, it is necessary to fully exploit the artistic and cultural value of Western Hunan tie-dyed art which has a unique charm among decorative arts, and to innovate it greatly under the protection and inheritance，and to analysis its uses and protections of contemporary decorative arts as well as its diversity in cultural heritage.On this basis, it can promote the development in modern living room’s decorating design. It can not only enrich the living space’s decorative using symbols, but also has the realistic significance to Western Hunan tie-dyed art’s heritage and the protection by combining the representative tie-dyeing art into room space’s design.This thesis tries to regard western Hunan tie-dyed art as the research object,put contemporary room design as the research platform, regard the combination of these two things as the research priority, and has a comprehensive research on this subject through the relative theory of aesthetics,design science, culture and national psychology. On the basis of relevant research on data and research results at home and abroad, I will make an analysis and conclusion on western Hunan tie-dyed art as well as room decorative design. At the same time, through researching Western Hunan tie-dyed art,I will explore more livable space craft products and develop the typical decorative elements of interior space, so that I can enrich people’s living needs.I will make an analysis and research at the aspects of traditional Western Hunan tie-dyed art’s history background, process, artistic charm and application status,things like that. I will clear the role and significance it plays in contemporary living room. I will make an understanding about the developing problem traditional western Hunan tie-dyeing art has faced; Through a comprehensive research on western Hunan tie-dyeiD art’s arts,function,as well as physics，I will make a creation through combining western Hunan tie-dyed art into room’s decoration, and show the new time’s description. At last, I will make a designing ideal innovation in realistic meaning in cotemmporay living decorative art form. we are looking forward to seeing the traditional tie-dyed art as the new direction in 21st century.
