Offner imaging spectrometer merges imaging and spectroscopic techniques, gets the apparent target and substance spectral images to achieve spectral imaging fusion. To improve the recognition of goals by comparing different wavelength images. Spectroscopy techniques have been widely applied to land monitoring, water quality and biomedical. Nonlinear imaging problem in Offner type of curved prism spectrometer is obvious, which has a greater impact on the spectral imaging performance. So, it has very important significance that correct nonlinear imaging problem in Offner type of curved prism spectrometer.This paper focuses on Offner type of curved prism and designs Curved Prism Offner Hyperspectral Imaging Spectrometer and Optimized Curved Prism Offner Hyperspectral Imaging Spectrometer. The system designs concentric curved prism relay on the advantage of the refractive spherical surface of the spherical aberration of zero. To correct imaging nonlinear of the system, deducing correct nonlinear glass composition. According to the specifications of the spectrometer, the paper selects a reflective Offner relay system. Consider reducing system design time, deriving the light propagated in a single refracted sphere and between two spheres so as to design the initial principle of the optical system. This paper designs system meets the requirements of the spectrometer bases on using designed program to obtain a good initial structure. Evaluating the imaging quality of the designed spectrometer to judge whether design spectrometer meets the designing requirements or not. Tolerance analysis of the designed spectrometer had been done according to today’s level of manufacturing and commissioning to judge whether the performance of optical system meets the requirements under the tolerance or not. Curved Prism Offner Hyperspectral Imaging Spectrometer designed in this paper can meet the general requirements for applications. Especially, Optimized Curved Prism Offner Hyperspectral Imaging Spectrometer which corrected nonlinear imaging can achieve better imaging quality.
