The Application Of "Visual Illusion" In Interior Design

In daily life, visual illusion can be found everywhere. Visual illusion has brought us the freshness with the sense of interestingness, and it has a strong impact on our vision. Visual illusion hasbeen widely used in various industries by people. Besides highlighting the effect, it increases the interesting taste of the works, which is helpful for us to carry out the interior design better.This thesis took the interior design of China film Yuhua Movie House as the carrier and enriched the interior design of China film Yuhua Movie House by applying visual illusion and color illusion combined with the principle of optical illusion. Firstly, the introduction part mainly described the research background, research significance and content, and research frame, which provide the direction for the further thesis writing. Then it comes the part of theoretical analysis, which made the definition of the visual illusion on the basis of data collection and summary to make analysis over the causes of visual illusion and summarized and analyzed the visual illusion from the two aspects of form visual illusion and color visual illusion. Then, it comes the main part of the article. It interpreted the application of visual illusion in the application of interior design through the third chapter and the fourth chapter. Afterwards, it came to the core part of the article. It applied the concept of visual illusion to the interior design of China film Yuhua Movie House by applying theory to practice. The last part is the conclusion of this paper, which made the combing and summary of the full text.In the interior design, design space with harmonious color and reasonable layout can be achieved by applying visual illusion. At the same time, it can create a distinctive artistic effect for design creation.In contrary, excessive pursuit of novel design form and strong shock power if having inappropriate understanding can lead people to have visual fatigue and aesthetic fatigue, which will deposit the real purpose and significance of the interior design causing the phenomenon of visual illusion flooding. The importance of applying visual illusion lies in the mastery of "degree" and the interior design with the application value and aesthetic value can be created by fully grasping the "degree" of visual illusion.
