As a heat-exchange equipment which can transfer the heat in the materials between two or more than two kinds of fluids, it plays an important role in the field of petrochemical and natural gas, electric power and metallurgy, aviation and vessel, heating and refrigeration, medical and hygiene.This article depends on the wind tunnel test platform in Shanghai DongRun Heat-Exchange Equp&Manuf.Co., Ltd. Firstly, it introduces the improvement of the connecting between the data acquisition system of wind tunnel and the hardware system. And then, it discusses the design of the software system of the heat-exchanger wind tunnel. The LabVIEW2012 platform designed by American National Instrument (NI) Company is adopted in the software system. The software system includes the configuration of the Agilent data acquisition unit, the configuration of Advantech board PCI-1720U unit, the configuration of Danfoss frequency converter controller and power controller. Then the article discusses the programming process of sensor signal acquisition module including analog signal (temperature, current, voltage) and digital signal(switching value). Comparing the deviation between the linear interpolation method and spline interpolation method of calculating variable working condition,it also introduces the calculation process of air heat, water heat and heat balance of heat exchanger fully. It gains the heat transfer coefficient of heat exchanger by LabVIEW calculation. And it is convenient to observe the dynamic heat transfer performance of the test sample by dynamic curves of heat exchange. On this basis, this paper introduces the design of closed-loop control system of the low speed wind tunnel air-cooling water system on air velocity, air temperature, flow velocity, water temperature. And it discusses the design of the data export module by LabVIEW, which docking Microsoft office software, and export in the form of excel document. Finally, this article introduces the analysis on reliability of the system by experimental data, and modified the the parameters of the system by the analysis of the data.Through test of wind tunnel experimental by the LabVIEW software, it is better for heat exchanger wind tunnel system to reach the expected effect and function, and it helps improving the defects of the traditional test software, long development cycle, poor system maintenance, highly system failure rate, poor visual of data calculation formula, poor data synchronization, high disadvantage of acquisition delay. Development of the test system is simplified in a modular way of programming, intuitive formula showing in the program block diagram improve the programming interface in a graphical way, it simplies the process of formula reading and replacement with the value of promotion and application. Through unifies the wind tunnel test experiment and the software calculation of the heat exchanger together, this paper provides a more reliable method of the design and research of heat exchanger.
