AC resistance is a basic item in electrical metrology, and also widely used in usual work. It is fundamental important to establish AC resistance standard in those aspects, such as AC voltage, AC current, power and impedance. 1kΩ bi-pitch calculable resistor is set as an example to explore its regulation in electromagnetic field. At last, the precision of this resistor is been proved.In order to simplify calculation and draw the common conclusion, I calculate the simplified model’s inductance and capacity at first, and then I draw the equal circuit. So I get the optimal resistor’s value and the fading characteristic in outer space where is far away from the resistor. At the same time, I analyze all the factors that can influence the AC-DC difference, such as dielectric loss, eddy current and pyro-electric effect. And last I give out the improvement plan.Compared with quadru-pole and octu-pole model, I give out the fading characteristic of real electromagnetic filed and test the time stability and thermal stability.In the period of making the real resistor, I give out the settle ways and influence factor after analysis and calculation. The final result shows that the new design resistor can meet the practical requirements.
