As the rapid development of micro-processing technology in computing speed, function and price ratio, the requirements is also more and more high for the control performance of AC motor control algorithm. Then, a convenient and rapid system platform is essential for the control algorithm research engineers to verify the validity of the control algorithm.In order to accelerate the development of new control strategies, the dSPACE semi physical simulation platform is chosen as the core algorithm research platform in this paper. The working principles of the software system and hardware system resources in dSPACE are introduced in detail. And the process of research and development in new algorithm by dSPACE is emphatically introduced.First of all, the hardware drive circuit needed for the experiment platform of induction motor is designed in this paper, including rectifier and filter circuit, three-phase inverter circuit, fault output circuit, photoelectric isolation circuit, and data acquisition circuit. The design principle and the choose of device parameters for each circuit are detaily given in this paper.Then, the vector control algorithm of induction motor is designed based on the principle of rotor field oriented principle, and simulation experiment of induction motor is done using vector control algorithm. The mathematical model and coordinate transformation model of induction motor in three-phase coordinate system are introduced in this part. The double closed loop vector control system simulation model based on the current loop and speed loop is established in the MATLAB/Simulink simulation environment, and the off-line simulation is carried out. The simulation results show that the control system has well static and dynamic control performance.Thirdly, the vector control simulation model is reformed into the real-time simulation model used the experimental platform, then the real-time simulation model of vector control is downloaded to dSPACE. With the help of ControlDesk integrated debugging software, the monitoring interface of vector control is created to on-line debug the experiment of vector control. At last, the start experiment of motor both in load and without load are carried out respectively in the experimental platform.The experimental results verify that the results of vector control experimental of induction motor are consistent with the experimental results of the off-line simulation results based on MATLAB/Simulink vector control, which prove the rationality of validating the control algorithm well based on the dSPACE semi physical simulation platform of induction motor. In addition, the whole development process of system can well prove that the semi physical simulation platform can greatly shorten the development time and largely reduces the project expenditure.Finally, the PCHD model of induction motor is established based on the state error port-controlled Hamiltonian system principle. Using the method of energy-shaping, the position controller is designed when the load torque is known and unknown, respectively. And the simulink experiments are carried out. The simulation results show that the position controller has good control performances and application prospects. In the future, the experimental results need to be verified on dSPACE real-time simulation platform.
