Crawler crane has many characteristics including driving on load, arm length combination more,good lifting performance,great height of work place and large range, These make crawler crane an irreplaceable position of the other lifting equipment, the crawler crane market is very broad. With the development of market economy in our country, labor costs increased significantly. Under the new circumstances, a rapid, efficient and accurate method of production are needed, it puts forward the requirements of crawler crane structure welding positioned design, installation should not only fast and accurate, but also avoiding duplication. In both theoretical research and practical application,used for both cutting and welding,foreign welding positioners are at the leading level;while the researching and manufacturing of domestic welding positioner started relatively late,still in the phase of research and development,some achievements have been made in recent decade.Based on the above points, crawler crane structure welding positioner design is necessary. This article mainly includes the following contents:Firstly five kinds of welding deformation and damage caused by the related are introduced, on the basis of that introduce the measures to deal with the welding deformation detailly, mainly includes the control measures are taken in the early stage of the welding, then put forward the concept of welding positioner as one of the welding deformation control measures and common structural types of welding positioned, finally based on the characteristics of this topic structures such as the shape and the weight,the structure scheme of welding posotioner is determined.3D design software SolidWorks 2010 was used to set up crawler crane structure 3D model. Simplify the model, remove redundant structure, preparing for the finite element analysis. On the the base of related parameters of The base welding structure,welding positioner transmission scheme and structure was designed. The welding virtual prototype design was set up based on SolidWorks 2010,then check interference on the base of welded structure assembled to welding positioned.Expounded the theoretical basis of finite element analysis, introduced the application of MIDAS NFX software brieflly,finite element model of the welding positioner is established by finite element analysis software MIDAS NFX.Finite element linear static analysis and modal analysis is done after simplifying model to determine the biggest deformation and modal frequency, in order to determine structure stability of the welding positioner.Through the analysis of finite element calculation results, evaluate the overall structural design,make structure improved design scheme if necessary,improve the structure design of welding positioner to ensure that the equipment is reliable and stable operation.
