Whenthe capsule endoscope is used to clinical application, the position and direction information of which is the key factor for doctor to determine the accurate position of pathological tissue of patient.But the commonly used wireless location technology is the low positioning accuracy, high cost or complex operation. However, the human body is the non-magnetic material and has no influence on the static magnetic signal,so the localization technology based on magnet can obtain the high accuracy in the human environment.This paper presents a positioning algorithm based on the magnet positioning technology to track capsule. First, the position of capsule is calculated by random complex algorithm, and the result has high precision and algorithm execution time is short, but the drawback of random complex algorithm is that depending on the choice of parameters of the initial position. Besides the algorithm is usually local convergence. If the initial point is away from the true solution, the iterative results are unlikely to be the correct solution. However,because the magnets can be moved to any position of the unknown space of sensor array, it is very difficult to provide the initial position parameter close to the solution in tracking system of target.Then, calculating the location of capsule by the improved artificial bee colony algorithm.Using the standard artificial bee colony algorithm to search globally the optimal solution in the algorithm, aftera certain number iteration of it using the pattern search method locally search around a feasible solution randomly selected. The result has high positioning accuracy, but the execution time is consumed more.Finally the improved artificial bee colony algorithm and random complex algorithm combine of the hybrid search algorithm. Using the improved artificial bee colony algorithm get the initial point of the positioning target, in its neighborhood, using random complex algorithm fast optimize, and getting the optimal positioning parameters. Due to the use of improved artificial bee colony algorithm only is at the initial stage of localization algorithm, therefore, it does not affect the real-time position. Besides the random complex algorithm only search in the neighborhood of the optimal initial points, therefore, and is not easy to fall into local optima, and fast search to the optimalvalue. Then, the hybrid algorithm is used in the positioning experiment system for capsule endoscope. The results show that the algorithm has fast speed and high positioning accuracy and issatisfactorywith the real-time and precision requirementfor the positioning of the capsule endoscope.
