Draft tube is an important part of the turbine, the quality of its performance and excellent stability, has a direct impact on the francis turbine generator unit, high efficiency and stable operation.This paper focuses on improving the draft tube rope produce cavitation,combined with the domestic and foreign related research results,select a certain operating conditions added stabilizer and CFD simulation.Comparing the simulation results concluded.Based on the actual francis turbine HL153-LJ-660 draft tube flow pattern as the research object, combined with actual model synthetic characteristic curve, the draft tube size and the relevant operation parameters such as simulated numerical analysis data.The following work has been done in the research process:1. Collect summary both at home and abroad at present has formed about the draft tube eddy zone, cavitation, pressure pulsation theory and analysis method, choose one kind of theory, preparation of CFD numerical simulation.2. Francis turbine HL153-LJ-660 based on the actual characteristics of the draft tube, use Pro/E 3D modeling software to draft tube and steady flow plate model is established in this paper.3. Application of computational fluid dynamics theory and RNGκ-ε model in FLUENT software,to analysis the draft tube forming cavitation caused by vortex, and obtain the flow velocity vector, streamline, path line.4.Analysis of the influence of vortex on different steady flow plates, this paper compares and analyzes the influence and draw the conclusion:pattern under the working conditions of steady flow plate for the model and cavitation caused by vortex band have markedly improved, cross under the condition of steady flow board this vortex with improved without good results.
