A Study On The Regional Characteristics Of Urban Wetland Park Landscape Construction

Urban Wetland Park with regional features provides leisure and recreation places formodern city residents. They are popularly constructed in many cities based on theirformidable political, economic, cultural and ecologic functions. However, problems occurswhen better presentation of regional-characterized Urban Wetland Park is expected due tolack of related theory and practice. In addition, similarity and duplication exist distinctively.This is unfavorable for reflection of region-specific characteristics. Therefore, regional cultureand characteristics are required to be addressed during construction of Urban Wetland Park.This paper aims to explore content and delivery method of Urban Wetland Part’s regionalfeatures through related theory and practice. Firstly, through research and classification ofmassive data and current status on social background and social influence of Urban WetlandPark, and incorporated with similarity and duplication existed in current Urban Wetland Park,this paper addresses purpose and meaning of regional features expression of Urban WetlandPark. Secondly, research has been done on related concepts, classification, values, reasons andCharacteristics of Urban Wetland Park and regional feature. Relation between regionalfeatures and landscape construction has been explored. And meanings and values of regionalfeatures in Urban Wetland Park landscape construction have also been clearly explained.Thirdly, multi research and analysis have been achieved on presentation about regionalfeatures of Urban Wetland Park from four dimensions: theory, ecology, society and economy.Based on these, this paper tries to find new solutions to constructions of landscape withregional characteristics; then, incorporated with theory above and past experience,presentation of regional features in Urban Wetland Park is described in detail from expressionlevel, method and strategies. Lastly, listing Qianxi City of Hebei Province as an example forbetter application of theory in to real case through deep exploration of its history, traditionalculture and regional culture. Through analysis of background and humanity resources, thispaper raises the design concept of Wetland Park.This paper aims to emphasize on regional feature from history, tradition, regionalcharacteristics and urban cultures, to explore and analyze on application of regional featuresof Urban Wetland Park. Construction of Urban Wetland Park landscape with regional featuresand epochal character is expected through trail combination of foreign advanced techniqueand native cultures.
