With shortage of global energy and environmental deterioration, the technology of wind-power and PV-power due to its unique advantages has a rapid development. In recent years, with processing of national urbanization and the enactment policy of saving energy and emission reducing gradually, the lights based on hydro wind-PV power generation are preferred by some cities This article has studied and designed a hybrid wind-PV LED street system, relying on the background of International Triathlon Venue solar street lighting system engineering in Chengdu JinTang city and Oriental motor factory wind power demonstration engineering in Deyang city.This article firstly introduces the situation of my topic at home and abroad, and the overall structure of the wind-solar complementary LED street lighting system is designed based on its energy flows. In addition, the operating characteristics of wind turbines, photovoltaic cells, batteries and other major components of system are respectively analyzed.According to power fluctuations for wind power and PV power system, maximum power point tracking are usually used. The variable step disturbance observation method on wind power system and the hybrid algorithm of constant voltage and the method based on hysteresis loop and disturbance observation for PV power system are respectively selected. With the goal of extending the longevity of the battery, the three-stage charging method is finally adopted.In order to verify the correctness of the theory a system of DSP2812as the core including the hardware and software systems is designed. The hardware system has mainly brings the smallest system of DSP2812,the main circuit, control circuits and the LED driver, and also describe how they work. In software system, the primary program flow chart, maximum power point tracking flow chart, battery charge and discharge procedures flow chart according to the working states are made in CCS3.3. And the corresponding programs by C separately are prepared. Finally the system performances are tested comparatively with another similar product based on the system.The results show that the designed system can work stably and reliably achieving the desired goal.
