As the energy situation becomes more and more serious and people’s environmental protection consciousness is enhanced, the application of renewable energy, especially new energy is getting used more and more widely. Since the21st century, the application of wind energy and solar energy has got rapidly developed throughout the world. Though the new energy capacity has been improved, because of the frequent fluctuations of output power caused by external conditions, the grid conveys great burden. Because a lot of power electronic devices have been used in progress of on-grid, the pollution of grid becomes seriously, grid in some places of is overburdened, and the access to the grid is limited, there appears the phenomenon that a lot of places have abandoned the use of wind energy and solar energy. In this case, the micro grid emerges. The micro grid is an autonomous system that is made of distributed energy, energy storage device, energy conversion device and the loads and can achieve self-control, protection and management. As a new form of using energy, micro grid solves the contradiction between the new energy and the grid very well. As a new thing, micro grid is still in its infancy, thus the current research hotspot is how to make the micro grid more safely, more reliably, more economically and optimal operation.This paper takes wind energy, solar energy and energy storage as research objects. The second chapter of this paper studies the micro grid of solar, wind, storage and establishes the mathematical model and scheduling features of them, which lays a foundation for the latter study of operational management skill of micro grid. PCS is the core device in micro grid, which is analyzed in the third chapter. Chapter three establishes the mathematical model of PCS, studies the controller under the mode of on-grid and off-grid, and stimulates and proves it in Matlab/Simulink software.When the grid is normal, the micro grid runs in the on-grid model, but in the event of a failure, micro grid can run in off-grid model automatically to make sure the reliability of electricity load in micro grid system. Therefore the management of micro grid contains on-grid and off-grid types. The fourth chapter of this paper analyzes the micro grid operational management strategy, and puts forward the operation of the different management strategies under different control objectives.The fifth chapter takes a real micro grid system as an example. First, the control of PCS is verified by testing, in order to verify the validity of the control strategy of the controller and the technology of on-grid and off-grid proposed in chapter three. Second, chapter five tests the operational management strategy of micro grid, to make sure the feasibility and effectiveness of these strategies. Finally, the management strategy has been optimized based on the price of electricity and the energy storage.
