In order to analysis the structures and properties of rocket booster for user, convenient for drawing three dimension graphs of rocket booster and simulating ballistic trajectory, and realize the product and database management of rocket booster, research and develop a fully functional rocket launch system.In this paper, rocket booster design theory is combined with computer-aided design method and a rocket launch system software of 3D parameter has been set up, which is composed of some functions which are structure design of booster, ballistic calculation analysis, database management system and engineering drawing. The structure design of booster includes parameters design of combustion chamber, front head and nozzle. Ballistic calculation analysis is to solve the interior and exterior ballistics model, can draw the curve of internal trajectory and simulation of particle external trajectory. Database management system consists of some standard material database, standard parameter database and solid rocket booster product and part database. A complete management system is founded, which support to modify, look up, append and delete these database. Engineering drawing can draw three dimension graphs of booster product and part, realize booster design scheme drawing. After researching the functions of rocket launch system, make the processes of software development, follow the modular design, compose functional system, make each module more close, achieve the purpose of the research and development of software.The software has a simple and friendly user interface. Just providing some original data, the software can realize the structure parameters of booster design(including the graphics design and display of 3D model), performance calculation, data management and so on. Practice has proved, the software has certain research and practical value in rocket booster design.
