In recent years, with the development of high-resolution remote sensing satellite, a substantial increase in the quality of remote sensing information, which means that the amount of data needs to be stored or transmitted is increasing. With the sharp increase in the rate of remote sensing data source, a higher rate of data receiving system is needed to complete the transfer of remote sensing data. Based on this background and combined with an engineering project, the main contributions of this thesis are summarized as follows.Firstly, demonstrate the scheme of high data rate remote satellite receiving system. From the perspective of the system level, introduce the main indicators, system components and working principle. Calculate the key parameters of system, like G/T values, tracking accuracy and antenna axial ratio.Secondly, expound the design method of two main subsystems. In antenna and feed subsystem, select a 5.4 m Cassegrain antenna by gain calculation and pattern simulation; and analysis the X-band feed system from the point of view of the structure and the electromagnetic field distribution. In tracking and receiving subsystem, demonstrate the choice of frequent points, down convert plan and other key technology solutions. Besides, design the important equipment 4*4 RF switch matrix in tracking and receiving subsystem, which mainly focus on simulation and calculation.Thirdly, research channel noise and phase-frequency characteristic influencing receiving bit error rate by theoretical analysis and simulation. Channel noise divides into two elements, the channel Additive white Gaussian noise and the source phase noise. Discussion of phase frequency characteristic is mainly focused on the group delay.Lastly, design the RF and IF closed-loop test environment and make several experiments about phase noise and group delay impacting the system receiving bit error rate. The results of the experiments verify the theoretical analysis.By scheme demonstration and analysis of channel characteristic, this thesis successfully proves the feasibility and advantages of high data rate remote satellite receiving system...
